Rose Reyling, MS, CCC-SLP
Rose received her bachelor’s degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences and her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Purdue University. She started her career in pediatric private practice and continues to adore this setting, as she loves and values the one-on-one connections. These connections provide her the impetus to go the extra mile for her patients and their families. Rose has experience providing diagnostic and intervention services to culturally diverse children ranging in age from 9 months to 22 years old with a variety of needs including language disorders, articulation, fluency disorders, learning disabilities (e.g., dyslexia), dysphagia and/or feeding difficulties, autism, motor speech disorders, intellectual disabilities, and children with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) needs.
Rose’s underlying value is to interact with children, and everyone else she encounters, in a way that makes them feel secure, and comfortable, so that they know that she will be receptive to what they have to say and/or are trying to communicate. She strives to create an environment where children feel safe and loved, and where they can not only learn how to better communicate, but also continue to develop the social-emotional skills needed to thrive! She wholeheartedly believes that when we are mindful of our interactions and treat children in this manner it empowers them to be their best selves and intrinsically motivates them.
Rose is originally from Montana, but now resides in DC. In her free time, she enjoys all outdoor activities (e.g., running, hiking, skiing), gardening, and cooking/baking. Rose is licensed to practice in DC, Maryland, and Montana. Rose is also a member of the American Hearing and Speech Association (ASHA).
