Rebecca began her career as a Behavioral Therapist where she discovered the strong link between behavior and communication. She went on to receive her masters degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from San Diego State University, focusing on early intervention and social communication.

Rebecca worked across a variety of settings including outpatient pediatrics, public schools, private schools, and assessment teams before putting her roots down in private practice. She strongly values the 1:1 attention and caregiver collaboration in this setting, She holds her certificate of clinical competencies through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed in Washington DC, California, and Illinois. She is trained in Social Thinking™, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Communication Severity Scales, and augmentative and alternative communication systems (AAC). Rebecca’s clinical expertise is with the pediatric population from birth through the teenage years. She has extensive experience with pragmatic language deficits, expressive and receptive language delays, autism, and articulation/phonological disorders.

In addition to being a Speech Language Pathologist, Rebecca is a certified yoga instructor. She is passionate about taking a holistic approach, natural learning environments, breath work, and mindfulness. When she’s not with clients, you can find Rebecca with her husband and son exploring the great outdoors and being experimental in the kitchen.
