We have a new website (and a new newsletter look)!

If you’ve been reading this newsletter for a while, you know that it’s a mix of general parenting advice, developmental information (including, but not limited to, speech and language) and specific thoughts for parents who are Raising Orchid Kids. 


Raising Orchid Kids is so excited to bring you our pretty (and way more functional) website at www.raisingorchidkids.com.

SpeechKids continues to deliver online speech therapy to young children. Two things that we’re particularly excited about are:

  1. Microdosed Speech Therapy Sessions – we see your child multiple times per week for 10-15 minutes. We get right to work, hit it hard, and then finish before anyone’s realized that they’re tired! There are some HUGE advantages to Microdosed Sessions:

    1. Short and sweet means less resistance from kiddos.

    2. NO travel

    3. Daily repetition of new skills (which, by the way, is what the best science tells us we need in order to learn).

    4. More consistency, less regression (so important as summer slide approaches!)


  1. Screenless Teletherapy & Coaching – these “in your ear” parent coaching sessions are AMAZING for building young children’s language skills. We tell you exactly what to say and when to say it so that you can learn how to build up your child’s confidence and communication! Total game changer.
