Get Financial Support For Your Orchid Kid

We’re working on a new offering here at SpeechKids and Raising Orchid Kids, and I wanted to send you this “Save the Date”.

  • What if you could save thousands of dollars on therapies for your Orchid?

  • What if they could attend that expensive therapeutic summer camp at no cost to you?

  • What if that private therapist you want your kiddo to work with was paid for?

It is our pleasure to partner with Michelle Gerstein - fellow Orchid Raiser mom - to present a “special topics” webinar on November 3, 2021 at 8pm eastern.

For Orchid Kids who have a qualifying diagnosis and who live in a participating state, we will meet to discuss the Katie Beckett waiver (also known as TEFRA), which allows families with a qualifying diagnosis to access funding for therapies outside of what the school district provides. The Katie Beckett waiver can fund additional occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, and other therapies. It also allows families to receive funding for summer camps -- therapeutic and non-therapeutic!

We will walk through the steps and show you exactly what to do in order to apply, navigate the red tape, and receive this funding.

For $25, you’ll have lifetime access to this webinar and potentially save thousands of dollars in extra therapies. You’ll also learn how to successfully navigate the system.

It can feel a bit daunting - like many government bureaucracies - but we will have your back with tricks and tips for how to weave through the ins and outs.

We’ll cover:

  • How Waivers can help your family (irrespective of your income)

  • Who qualifies and the path to success - tips and tricks

  • What happens once you’re approved

More details, including registration, will be coming soon!

All my best -

Gabriele

PPS - Take a look at THIS fascinating article about early intervention therapy in young children showing signs of autism. Research shows that just 10 sessions of intervention can dramatically reduce the likeliness of being diagnosed with a developmental disorder by the age of 3. This BRAND NEW research is completely worth the read.
